Priest
“The gods do not grant miracles. They grant you.”
The Priest is the backbone of any serious party — a devoted healer who keeps the fallen on their feet and the fight moving forward. Where the Paladin charges the front line, the Priest holds it together from behind, weaving heals, wards, and prayers through the chaos of combat. Solo play demands discipline, but in a group the Priest transforms every encounter from a desperate scramble into a controlled victory. When the raid boss enrages and the tank is at half a heart, the Priest decides who gets to go home.
Abilities
Mend — Channel a focused beam of holy light, restoring 6 hearts to a targeted ally over 3 seconds. Can be cast on yourself. (Cooldown: 8s)
Holy Ward — Surround an ally in a divine barrier that absorbs the next 4 hearts of damage and grants 10 seconds of Regeneration II. (Cooldown: 20s)
Mass Prayer — Raise your hands and call down a healing wave, restoring 4 hearts to all allies within 10 blocks. The Priest is not healed by this ability. (Cooldown: 35s)
Smite — Invoke judgment on a single target, striking it with a column of holy light for heavy damage. Deals triple damage against undead and ignores armor. (Cooldown: 12s)
Turn Undead — Emit a radiant pulse that forces all undead within 8 blocks to flee in terror for 6 seconds. Bosses are slowed instead of routed. (Cooldown: 40s)

Tips
- Positioning is everything. Stay 6–10 blocks behind your tank and keep line of sight at all costs.
- Open every dungeon pull with Holy Ward on your tank — the burst absorption saves more healing than any reactive cast.
- Mass Prayer has no self-heal. Pre-cast Mend on yourself before a pull, then use Mass Prayer freely during.
- Smite is not just a finisher — undead dungeons like the Deep Dark make it your primary damage tool. It outdamages most melee classes against skeletons and zombies.
- Turn Undead buys critical seconds when the tank dies and the mob pack turns on you. Use it, resurrect the tank, reset the fight.
- Priests are rare. In a dungeon group you are irreplaceable. Use that leverage — set the pace of pulls, not the DPS players.
